Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized using an application that is specifically designed for. You can save maps of your house, organize cleaning schedules, and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also alter the suction power and the amount of water the mop is using.
A mapping function helps your robot navigate through rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles prevents it from running over furniture, wires, or stray toys. These are essential features for my house, filled with toys scattered around.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, so it is naturally with a host of features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and lift its brushes or mop pads so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to spot pets, plants and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.
The mopping capabilities of the S8 Pro Ultra are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad that is over 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting system, which lifts the pad as it moves from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding soaking these types of soft surfaces.
In addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad is capable of rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means you can just leave it in place and forget it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank every now and then.
All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop- and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before beginning to lose power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only drawback is that it's pricey. But, the sheer number of features makes it a very appealing choice for anyone looking to go away from their old stick vacuums and mop. If you can afford the cost we recommend you check this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The premium price is justified by the powerful features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop heads. It has an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combos available. In my testing it performed well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without knots. The mops also performed admirably with excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and an effective dose of cleaning solution.
The docking station is the main selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag for dirt, refills the tank with water to use to mop and also dry your mop pads. It also has a real-time hazard detection system and allows you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions via its intelligent controls.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tested, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops in the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's many top-of-the-line features, it requires regular maintenance and care. Its base station needs to be cleaned out, and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, empty and dried regularly to prevent unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to note that the mop pads which are purchased separately, must be replaced regularly too.
Given the L10S Ultra's premium price tag and extensive functionality I would recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. For those who are on a tighter budget, I would suggest an easier model that allows you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could purchase, its high cost and frequent maintenance will make it more of a want than need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your floors while cleaning up wet mess look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robovac combo packs a strong suction power of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity to power both mowing and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle-avoiding. It even comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself as it moves this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean to wash off the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the robot and it receives a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. While it spins the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the heater elements of the tank and it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds a good amount of water and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box, just like most other robotic vacuums and mops. It must be filled with clean water, but this is easy to do by cleaning the dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to the dock. If you choose this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaning solutions.
The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map out a area and navigated around furniture. robot vacuum reviews got stuck on carpets with longer piles a couple of times during my tests. However it could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, and it has some outstanding features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of removing dirt and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.
The app that runs this appliance is fairly dense, with a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually clean every area that is that this device maps or select individual rooms, expandable zone, or a custom routine you've designed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
Like all Roborock models we've examined like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system works well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does a great job of covering a room, with no major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too however it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like thick carpets but may not be able detect smaller objects such as electrical wires and rug tassels.
This machine has one major issue: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's an easy solution: the app has an option that lets you "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the vacuum's mopping capability to remove the last traces of debris and dust that you've left behind from the vacuuming. It's a nice touch and helps the robot to get rid of a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
